CLASS ENROLLMENT, CANCELLATION, & REFUND POLICIES
I understand that life brings many surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their workshop reservation or miss a weekly class. Please help me continue to offer these classes, at the most affordable costs possible, by reading and adhering to the cancellation and refund policies.
ENROLLMENT: MONTHLY, DROP-IN, or CLASS PACKS
Enrollment for all art classes and workshops at Mize Art Studio is handled through the online platform provided by Sawyer. Enrolling with the Monthly Payment Plan option provides the convenience of automated monthly payments and guarantees you or your child a spot in the class for every future month until you decide to cancel. (It's worth noting that the default date in which Sawyer automates payments is the first of each month. If another date would be more convenient, I'm happy to make that change for you.) Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time without penalty as long as notice is given at least 48 hours prior to the next class day.
The Drop-In Payment option allows you the flexibility of choosing only the classes you want to attend and paying up front for just those dates. The Drop-In option does not reserve a spot in any future classes.
Class Packs allow the flexibility and convenience of purchasing multiple spots in a class at a discounted rate that are not tied to any specific date. This can be a great solution for families with more unpredictable schedules since these spots can be applied to any of the weekly sessions of a class that have openings.

CANCELLATIONS
Classes are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached, in the event of inclement weather, or when other unexpected circumstances may arise. (I typically follow USD 501 and/or Washburn University for cancelling classes due to weather.) Whenever possible, cancellations are determined no later than 24 hours before the class starts. If I cancel a class or workshop every student will have the option to receive a credit towards a single class, a promo code that can be used towards the purchase price of any workshop, or a "free class" promo code to share with a friend. All of these options must be used within 30 days of the cancellation.
REFUNDS
Class fees not only cover professional instruction, use of supplies, and use of the studio space, but also the availability of my time. As the sole proprietor of a small business, it can be difficult when I've been planning for a class and scheduling my time accordingly to be prepared for it, only to have several people cancel at the last minute. As is the common practice for nearly all varieties of classes and lessons, credits are not available if a student misses a class without communication. However, if a parent/student provides, at minimum, 48 hour prior notification I'm happy to provide credit options or adjust the monthly tuition.
