CLASS CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICIES
I understand that life brings many surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their workshop reservation or miss a weekly class. Please help me continue to offer these classes, at the most affordable costs possible, by reading and adhering to the cancellation and refund policies.
Classes are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached or in the event of inclement weather. (I follow USD 501 for cancelling classes.) Whenever possible, cancellations are determined no later than 24 hours before the class starts. If I cancel a class or workshop, the student will have the option to transfer to another workshop, as long as space is available, receive a credit towards a single class the following month, or receive a 100% refund.
Monthly tuition fees not only cover professional instruction, use of supplies, and use of the studio space, but also the availability of my time. As is the common practice for nearly all varieties of classes and lessons, refunds are not available if a student misses a class. However, if a parent/student provides notification that they will be gone before the first class of the month, their monthly tuition can be adjusted accordingly.
